The Frederick Blues Society Inc. was formed in 1999 as a non-profit organization based in Frederick, Maryland. The mission of the Frederick Blues Society Inc. is to promote a greater appreciation of the blues as an American art form, provide education through our Blues In The Schools program, support regional Blues bands, and to help attract national Blues acts to the Frederick area.

The Frederick Blues Society Inc. is an affiliated organization of the Blues foundation.
